Title: Senior Consultant/e-business suite

About the position:

Provide functional and technical support for the Oracle eBusiness Suite. Serve as the eBusiness Application Administrator, Security Administrator, Business Analyst, Customer Support Representative and Developer for the SCC’s Oracle eBusiness suite.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess six or more years of total IT professional experience in developing and modifying information systems (exp implementing similar systems like Siebol will be acceptable) to include system design and development, and graduation from a four year college or university with major course work in Computer Programming or Information Systems. In lieu of a degree, applicants must possess 10 years of the aforementioned professional experience.

Considerable knowledge of systems analysis, design, and system implementation (exp in implementing similar systems such as Siebol will be acceptable). Applicants must possess knowledge of all phases of project management and the system development life cycle.

Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to identify business needs and issues and develop workable solutions.

Prior hands-on experience with implementing and administrating the Oracle eBusiness Suite is required (1 yrs min - but those with stronger experience administering Oracle e-business suite will be considered first).

Knowledge of and experience with both the Financial Management and Human Resources modules of the Oracle eBusiness Suite is highly desirable.

Responsibilities will include:
•Provide functional and technical support for the SCC's Oracle eBusiness Suite.
•Serve as the eBusiness Application Administrator, Security Administrator, Business Analyst, Customer Support Representative and Developer for the SCC’s Oracle eBusiness suite.
•Provide support to SCC staff members in the use of both the Financial Management and Human Resources modules of the Oracle eBusiness Suite
•Research and analyze Oracle eBusiness Suite module functionality; recommend and develop plans for patches/upgrades and new module implementations
•Create and maintain features and work-flow in program code utilizing Oracle Developer 6i (Forms/Reports), Oracle JDeveloper 9i, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL and Oracle Workflow Builder
•Develop and maintain features, configurations, set-up documentation and user documentation
•Prepare detailed systems and user test plans, lead testing and coordinate implementation of the Oracle eBusiness Suite patches and upgrades.

Pls note: SCC did not give salary ranges for the FTE position. That compensation package will need to be discussed directly with candidate once they determine if they are gong to pursue FTE. A good rule to follow is that the compensation for the contract portion is typically 10-15% higher than salaried position - which offers benefits/ect. Title: Senior Consultant/Data Architect

Data Architect and business intelligence expert in developing complex databases and supporting models. This is part of a new initiative within IT at State Corp Commission. Responsibilities to include:

•Design and develop enterprise data models that suit SCC needs and resolves existing ‘individual’ application driven problems

•Collaborate with application / solution development architects and SCC thought leaders in the process of integrating these data models into future and evolving SCC business needs

•Participate in architecting interfaces and components to promote the adaptation of these data models within the scope EA at SCC IT division

•Promote tools and processes to help enforce these data models

•Architect and implement solutions for technical requirements with an eye on strategic needs, database interoperability, maintainability, and operational efficiency

This is a hands on position - Systems Engineer/Network Administrator position for VDOT's Northern RegionTraffic Management Center (TMC) In Arlington.

The new system will be located at the Public Safety Transportation Operations Center (PSTOC) in Fairfax County, near the intersection of the Fairfax County Parkway and Route 50 so there will be travel between the two NoVA offices.

The State Corp Commission in Richmond is in need of a Solution Architect for new enterprise environment within their IT division.

Experience is as follow:

•Architects applications for multiple projects and offers project-level guidance to project team members to identify and mitigate project risks

•Evaluates technologies for enterprise-level use while keeping focus on specific application level needs (expertise of Oracle & .Net technologies is required)

•Participates in developing consistent guidelines and standards; documents to roll-out effective multi-tier and multi-layer architectures; and promotes the use of enterprise integration patterns, and enterprise architecture patterns

•Collaborates with the project managers and business domain experts to refine application architecture designs and how applications use various tools, techniques, and technologies (Oracle and .Net required)
